Hey Sara - I'm Ali, another one of the nurses on the Africa Mercy, and the one with the stack of pink sheets currently in my cabin. I have a name for you:
Ketodji Bossou is a man who came to us with a very large hernia. I have no other information about him, not his age or where he lives or anything. Just that he came and that we had to send him away, like we sent so many away. And in a country where something like 90% of people are farmers or fishermen, having a large hernia can mean that they're not able to support their families.
Thank you so much for standing with us in this fight.
I am a woman in mid-life who loves the Lord and her family!! I am the mom of 3 absolutely amazing kids (23, 21, 19) who make my life happy, crazy, busy.....perfect! I am also a pastor's wife. I try to live each day looking for where God is working so that I can join him there.
I am attempting to take one photograph each day of this next year. My hope is to be able to slow down and see the small things, become a better photographer and to be reminded of the many blessings God sends my way!
