Tonight at church we celebrated our graduating seniors Here they are with the youth pastor
Each family decorated a table that represented their grad's life I had a rolling slide show on my Mac and different things that represented Jason's accomplishments
After dinner, they brought the grads up on the stage and introduced each one and told what their plans were. Then the mic was open which allowed people to tell them something encouraging, a funny story about them, how much they have meant to them, etc.
My magnolia tree is coming into full bloom The blooms are HUGE, the size of a plate If you have never smelled one up close, you are missing out! They smell heavenly!
Had my older son's last band concert :( It is also our director's last concert as she is moving to northwest Arkansas. She did a fantastic job with these kids and we will miss her!
My younger son was asked to direct one of the pieces. He did such a good job!! He was also award "most outstanding musician" I am so proud of him!!
spent the morning scanning in pictures for a graduation video. Those of you whose children were born only in the digital era have no clue how lucky you are!!
No picture today this is happening a lot more often than last year! it was a busy, busy day but ended with an awesome dinner at friend's house I just forgot to get my camera out....argh!
I am a woman in mid-life who loves the Lord and her family!! I am the mom of 3 absolutely amazing kids (23, 21, 19) who make my life happy, crazy, busy.....perfect! I am also a pastor's wife. I try to live each day looking for where God is working so that I can join him there.
I am attempting to take one photograph each day of this next year. My hope is to be able to slow down and see the small things, become a better photographer and to be reminded of the many blessings God sends my way!
