2 1/2 years ago my husband and I planned a cruise with our 3 best friends. One month before we were to leave, one of our friends was diagnosed with breast cancer. We were able to get a voucher for the cruise and put it on hold till she was through chemo, etc. Well, here we are.
Our friends Stephen and Leah came over for dinner tonight. I made homemade spaghetti and meatballs!! yummo! Leah is a doctor and checked Jared and said if he is not better by monday we should have him tested for mono.....great.
Steve and I host a New Years Day Open House each year. We have been doing this for over 15 years! I love having people in my home. We had a ton of people and lots of kids running all over the house, it was wonderful!! There is nothing better than to start off the new year with great friends!
I have decided to attempt being part of Project 365. I will be taking one photo each day for the year 2009 and posting it.
I am so exited to be able to look back at the end of the year and see where God has taken me, blessed me, carried me and loved me!
If you want to participate in this with me, here are the details:
1. grab the code on my sidebar and put it on your own sidebar 2. Sunday will be 365 day. So, on Sundays, post your pictures from the week. You can post them as a slide show or individually with a description for each. The original post said to post your picture every day, but I didn't think I would be able to follow through with that....hence Sundays! 3. Leave me a comment so I know you have posted and can visit to see your pics!!! 4. Don't let this become a chore!! This should be fun! If you miss some days......it's okay!!!
I am a woman in mid-life who loves the Lord and her family!! I am the mom of 3 absolutely amazing kids (23, 21, 19) who make my life happy, crazy, busy.....perfect! I am also a pastor's wife. I try to live each day looking for where God is working so that I can join him there.
I am attempting to take one photograph each day of this next year. My hope is to be able to slow down and see the small things, become a better photographer and to be reminded of the many blessings God sends my way!
