Today I attended the funeral of a friend's father. He was only a year younger than my own father and it really hit home to me that I need to enjoy every minute with my parents.

I lost my dad 13 years ago and mom, only 3 years ago. They lived long lives but of course, not long enough for me. I miss them, especially during holidays but know we will be reunited in Heaven.
