Day 29 - Thursday

One week and counting!!!!

2 1/2 years ago my husband and I planned a cruise with our 3 best friends.  One month before we were to leave, one of our friends was diagnosed with breast cancer.  We were able to get a voucher for the cruise and put it on hold till she was through chemo, etc.  Well, here we are.

What a celebration we are going to have!!!!

Now that is definitely a way to slow down and see God's blessings! I will add your friend to my prayers. Breast cancer took my mom at age 36 in 1983. As I sat in the room after my mamo today I was already have mental warfare because I am 36. WOW! Well you ALL enjoy your vacation and I personally can't wait for the pictures!!! lots and lots of pictures!

This is a great way to celebrate her life and the fact that she's gotten through this so far! Your friend will be in my prayers. I know what it's like to watch the people you care about go through this horrible disease. But, there's always hope for tomorrow! Have fun on your cruise!

Sara- We just went on a cruise in Nov. w/our best friends. We celebrated our 20th in August and they their 25th the next day. We went to the Bahamas for four nights and five days. I am hooked - I am ready to go again. I got the sick the first night and then got the patch and never felt ill again.
Enjoy the food, shopping, food, sun, food, speciality drinks, food, watch for fun things in your room when you come back at night, food, and you are treated like a king and queen the whole time. There were 2400 people on our boat.

continued - and I have no idea where they were. Have fun at dress up night too. I felt like I was at prom with my husband. I am sure you will have lots of pictures. I took over 200. I even took pics of the presentation of our food. Who are you cruising with? We went on Royal Carribean. Can't wait to hear about it. Have a GREAT time!!!
