Day 151 - Sunday

Today we worked on the sets for our new Joseph curriculum
for children's church

this will be a backdrop behind the stage.
like you are looking out into Egypt

This will be our "pit", isn't it awesome?!
we have chairs under there and chicken wire. then topped it
with crumpled paper!

the white part was then painted to look like stones.

we have some very talented people in our church and it looks..
AMAZING!!!

Day 150 - Saturday

We worked hard around the house today...
..so out to dinner we went!!!

We are getting ready to start a series on Joseph.
These will be painted with scenery to look like Egypt.

Due to this situation.....I had him working!

Day 148 - Thursday

This is where I had my cup of coffee this morning!!

I spent the night at my cousin's new house.

Day 147 - Wednesday

Today I helped my cousin in the process of getting my Aunt's house ready for an estate sale. This was a very emotionally and physically difficult day for me. I was not completely prepared to see the house so empty. However, it was a good day. There were tears and there was also a lot of laughter as we discovered things and reminisced. One funny story: my cousin found a bottle of dish washing liquid, like Joy. But there was something else in the bottle. My Aunt had taped masking tape over the label and written on it "something else"!! I laughed about this all day!!

I love it! But the likely hood that I can get it this straight again or to even look like this tomorrow is very slim!

Well......it finally happened....
I missed a day taking a picture!!

Today was so busy...airport, doctor, fasting blood work, NO COFFEE (that right there is the problem!), work, torrential rain storm.....need I go on?

Steve's mom has to leave today :(
We had such a great time while she was here!!!

Then she called an hour later....
...her flight was canceled and she can't get out till tomorrow..

I really am tired of all the rain!

It is 9:00 am and you really can't tell in this picture, but it is very DARK outside. You also can't hear the thunder that is rumbling!

It does make everything wonderfully green though!

Day 125 - Tuesday

One thing I love about my boys being at a Christian school
is their world view class.
They have to discuss things like spiritual gifting, Calvinism, predestination, other religions, etc. and then we get to discuss them at the dinner table.....I love that!

Once a month we have visitors/new members to our house for dinner.
We had 5 couples over last night
